With more than 15 years of experience in journalism, I’ve covered stories across a range of topics including those related to the environment, immigration, criminal cases and business law. My articles have included: investigative reporting, beat reporting, features and profiles for daily, weekly, and monthly publications as well as online news sites.
I spent seven years as a daily legal columnist for Bloomberg News, four years as a contributing editor and senior staff reporter at The American Lawyer magazine, and three years at The National Law Journal as a staff reporter. My freelance writing has been published by The New York Times, Harper’s, and The Imprint and Crosscut, among others.
My work has received multiple journalism awards and I’ve been recognized with a Fulbright Scholarship and a Soros Fellowship for my writing. Below is a sample of my work.
