Bio

Elizabeth Amon is an award-winning reporter, writer and photographer. She has published articles and stories in The New York Times, Harper’s Magazine, Bloomberg News, as well as art and literary publications River Teeth,  The Journal of Compressed Arts, NoZone and The Reading Room.

She was recently a grand prize winner in the New Millennium Writing contest for fiction, for the first chapter of her novel, “High Dive.” She has also been a finalist in the Pacific Northwest Writer’s Contest and the William Faulkner Writing Contest.

She received a B.A. from Oberlin College and a M.A. in creative writing from City College of New York. She has also been awarded a Fulbright Scholarship and a Soros Fellowship for her writing.
